The Main House

Our facilities are in the process of being updated and our ground floor south facing rooms enjoy spectacular natural light with views across the greenery of a beautiful five acre site. Lindisfarne Lounge boasts comfortable seating, the use of a large screen, a cosy log fire for autumn and winter and a piano. It can comfortably seat up to 40 people and can be reconfigured with tables and chairs to suit the needs of your group.

The Refectory is our dining space at the heart of the house which can comfortably seat up to 24 people. This opens out onto The Conservatory, with views over the Worcestershire countryside, which can be used as a further dining room, a coffee lounge or a break-out space. The double doors of the conservatory lead out onto The Terrace which is also south facing and is laid out with tables, chairs and offers lovely views of the site.

The ground floor also houses the comfortable Johansen-Berg Library with space to relax, reflect, gather or study. Our small Prayer Room is the perfect space for one-to-one or small group sessions, book writing, study and prayer.

Our large Self-catering Kitchen has everything you will need to keep your group well fed, including a cosy AGA which invariably attracts moments of good company and conversation. The Kitchenette offers a space for guests to make drinks and snacks with its boiling water dispenser, fridges, toasters, microwave, hot plates and dishwashers.

Cuthbert’s Cave

Located on the lower ground floor, Cuthbert’s Cave is another of our fabulous south facing gathering spaces with stunning views. Equipped with tables, chairs and a screen, the room can be easily configured to suit the needs of your group and comfortably seat up to 20 people.

A newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped for preparing lunches and hot meals. The coffee bar includes a boiling water dispenser and crockery. The main room leads into a small Conservatory with access to a terrace and our beautiful five acre grounds. Cuthbert’s Cave has access to 6 bedrooms (capacity 11 people) and can be booked as a separate space for residential bookings. It can also be hired for a day (bedrooms not included in this option).

The Bedrooms and Chad’s Chapel

Up the main staircase, the first floor hosts south facing Chad’s Chapel with views across Worcestershire to the Malvern Hills. Comfortably seating up to 15 people this room can be easily reconfigured to suit the needs of your group, it is fitted with a loop system and screen.

Many of the Bedrooms are also south facing with stunning views over the grounds. There are 7 Main House bedrooms with a variety of layouts including singles, twins and family rooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 17 people. There are 6 bedrooms connected to Cuthbert’s Cave which can accommodate up to 11 people. With the addition of Dove Loft a Whole House booking will include a total of 17 bedrooms for up to 37 people. For youth or church family weekends a small number of extra air beds or camp beds can be brought and added to some rooms to expand capacity.

Eight of our bedrooms are equipped with en-suite facilities and the remaining rooms are fitted with washbasins and access to separate shower facilities. Two of our bedrooms have a small lounge connected to them and for those looking for ease of mobility three of our bedrooms are on the ground floor, one with an accessible shower and toilet.

Dove Loft

Dove Loft is our self-contained four bedroomed flat located in the east wing of the house. Perfect for a small group or family, it can be booked independently from the Main House or included in a Whole House booking (17 bedrooms).

It offers 3 double bedrooms and one single bedroom with bunkbeds, a kitchen diner, lounge and two bathrooms. With it’s separate entrance, parking, access to our five acre site and the Waseley Hills country park it offers an ideal space for getting away and breathing deep.

The Grounds

From the front of the house, our beautiful grounds offer extensive views over the Worcestershire countryside and from the back, direct access to the pathways, hills, ponds, park and café of the Waseley Hills Country Park.

Our two Fire Pit areas and Meditation Garden offer all you need for a fabulous evening by the fire or a peaceful contemplative space with the sound of running water nearby. The wooden Pergola offers an alternative undercover space. As well as our gentle and friendly Alpacas Joey and Chino, our five acre site hosts innumerable quiet spots, natural play areas and a sports pitch.
